The Sheldonian Theatre is the ceremonial hall of the University of Oxford, and one of Oxford's most striking landmarks. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and opened in 1669, this stunning building serves as the setting for matriculations, graduations, Encaenia and many academic gatherings.
We have collaborated with the Sheldonian Theatre to offer self-guided visits of both the Theatre and the beautiful medieval Divinity School; and a guided tour of both buildings exploring the ceremonial locations at the heart of the University of Oxford.
Tickets onsale soon for dates beginning Wednesday 29 January. For upcoming closures that may affect available tours, check our Plan your visit page.
