Bodleian Café

The Bodleian Café, run by award-winning caterers Benugo, is situated Blackwell Hall in the Weston Library. From the café, visitors can look upon book-lined galleries and the inner workings of the library. The café is close to the exhibition galleries and a stone's throw from the Old Bodleian Library's historic buildings and quadrangle.

Benugo are renowned for their handmade, authentic and natural products – as well as their fabulous coffee and teas. The café offers a wide selection to suit all taste buds, including sandwiches and salads, hot dishes, cakes and pastries.

Opening times

Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 5pm
Sunday: 11am – 5pm 

Last orders are 30 minutes before closing. 


Bodleian shops

The Bodleian Libraries have two shops - The Zvi Meitar Bodleian Libraries Shop in the Weston Library, and the Bodleian Library shop in the Old Bodleian Library – each with its own unique setting and product range. Come and find exclusively designed gifts based on the Libraries' collections, as well as sumptuous textiles, desk accessories and bespoke furnishings.

For book lovers, we have a handpicked range which includes exhibition catalogues and richly illustrated titles produced by our award-winning publishers, Bodleian Library Publishing.

Bodleian Images

Bodleian Images is the online picture library of the Bodleian Libraries. It connects picture researchers and publishing editors to the most important, popular and unique images held within the Libraries' ever-growing collections.

This picture library allows you to view and buy digital reproductions of manuscripts, rare books, musical texts, maps, illustrations, and photographs, for editorial publication and other use.
