Admire the Bodleian Library’s famous architecture and history at your leisure with an interactive audio trail.
Learn how our historic site has developed over 600 years, from a single purpose-built building for discussions on medieval theology through to the 21st-century Weston Library.
You will see the interior of the Divinity School, the Old School Quadrangle, Clarendon Quadrangle, Radcliffe Square and the Weston Library.
It comes with a free history trail for children.
How to buy
Audio trail tickets are available to buy from the ticket desk in the Weston Library.
You will then be able to download the tour onto your smartphone to use on site.
Please make sure you bring your smartphone and headphones to enjoy the trail.

- The audio trail does not include entry to the Bodleian Old Library, Duke Humfrey Library or Radcliffe Camera.
- If you want to see inside the library, you'll need to book a library guided tour.
