About the event
The buildings that make up the original Bodleian Library have a unique history unlike any other. Join the Friends of the Bodleian team to see these incredible spaces and hear the stories behind the Library.
The tour will include the Divinity School, Duke Humfrey’s Library, Convocation House and Chancellor’s Court. Our team will share the history of how and why the buildings came to be, and the stories behind the spaces. From the burning of the books during the reformation period of Henry VIII to the filming of Harry Potter, the stories these places can tell are unique and unparalleled.
