Christmas Crafternoon

SPECIAL EVENT

Christmas Crafternoon

A gold horizontal flourish

 Saturday 18 November 2023

 1pm–3pm

  Blackwell Hall, Weston Library

Free and open to all, just drop in!

About the event

Drop in to the Weston Library for an afternoon of Christmas crafts.

Inspired by our exhibition Alphabets Alive!, sew a festive fabric panel in our workshop with artist Rosalind Wyatt. Make a lantern with your panel as an illuminated window, fashion some fabulous Christmas decorations, and colour a cracking Christmas card.

The Bodleian Café will be selling a range of delicious seasonal drinks and snacks, and the Bodleian Shop is the perfect place to find a bookish stocking filler.

The event is suitable for children aged 3 and up, but all ages are very welcome.

 Location

Blackwell Hall, Weston Library, Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3BG

 Wheelchair access

The Weston Library is wheelchair accessible.
