Join artist Annie Sloan CBE as she reveals the inspiration behind her work and explores how to develop and translate ‘inspiration into design’. The talk will include a practical demonstration on creating a medieval-inspired design using the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Annie Sloan CBE is widely considered one of the world’s leading authorities in paint, colour and style. She invented her revolutionary furniture paint, Chalk Paint™ in 1990. Her exhibition of paintings and ceramics, and a curated range of paints inspired by the Bodleian's medieval manuscripts, are available in the Bodleian Library shops
