About this workshop
Not all photographs are silver. In the 1840s, an alternative photography was invented from light and water and photosensitive iron salts which came out in bright Prussian Blue.
Join artist Jo Gane and curator Phillip Roberts on a blue adventure. Learn about the discovery of the cyanotype process and see (and touch!) the work of artists who have experimented with the process. Learn the techniques yourself to make photographic prints or bookmarks to keep.
All materials will be provided, but you can bring your own objects or photographs to work with if you wish. Further information will be sent on booking.
