About the event
Join curator Phillip Roberts for a private tour of our three photographic exhibitions:
- A New Power: Photography in Britain 1800–1850
- Bright Sparks: Photography and the Talbot Archive
- Natural Magic: Experiments in Photography
We will explore the early years of photographic experimentation and discover how you can create experimental artworks of your own through the Bodleian’s programme of workshops.
Tour participants should meet in Blackwell Hall, outside the A New Power exhibition.
Dr Phillip Roberts is The Bern & Ronny Schwartz Curator of Photography at the Bodleian Libraries. He is the curator of Natural Magic: Experiments in Photography.
