About the event

As part of the Oxford Folk Festival, join us for a series of music performances in Blackwell Hall at the Weston Library.

Schedule

11.30: Feisty Choir

A female acapella choir with new takes on lullabies, work-songs, songs of protest and songs of nature. Come and be surprised!

12.30: Sawneywhitebird

A trio comprising Ravi Sawney, Heather White and Jane Bird playing English ceilidh as well as French, Breton and continental Balfolk.

13.15: Tamise

A 4-piece band made up of young musicians who are all members of the National Youth Folk Ensemble.

14.00: Barricane

An Oxford-based band offering a wonderfully melodic new folk sound.

14.45: Short Drag Roger

All male choir specialising in sea songs and shanties.

These performances take place in person in Blackwell Hall, Weston Library.
