About the event

Discover the materials and techniques behind the science of glass production in late Bronze Age Egypt and the archaeological evidence – from tombs to shipwrecks – that reveals its history and trade. With Dr Daniela Rosenow (Griffith Institute, University of Oxford) and Dr Victoria Sainsbury (School of Archaeology, University of Oxford).

The lecture will be followed by a demonstration of ancient glass bead working by Dr Anna Hodgkinson in University Parks.
