About this tour

The Bodleian Libraries has partnered with the winner of the World’s Best Gin, Sky Wave Distilling Company, to create an unforgettable evening of gin tasting and guided tours.

The distiller of the Bodleian’s very own bespoke gin, Sky Wave Distilling Company, will host a special event in the stunning Divinity School, including a romp through the history of gin and tasting notes to match the gin you will be tasting.

The evening will also include a 5-star-rated tour of the medieval Duke Humfrey’s Library, rated the #1 visitor attraction in England, with one of the Bodleian’s fantastic tour guides.

Tour information

• You must be 18+ to attend this event.
• The gin tasting and tour are conducted in English.
• The expected duration of the experience includes time in the Bodleian shop.
• Meet inside the Old Bodleian Library Proscholium, behind the statue.
• This tour includes a number of stairs. Due to the historic nature of the buildings, we regret no lift is available.

• The gin tasting includes 3 different gins.
