About the workshops

Sing in the summer with this free series of outdoor music workshops for parents and carers of babies under 1. Inspired by the Bodleian Libraries’ Wonder of Birds exhibition, we will be learning simple, beautiful songs featuring our feathered friends.

These workshops will be a gentle creative space for adults to enjoy making music together in nature, with babes in arms welcome. No previous singing experience is needed and everything will be learned by ear.

The workshops will take place in the gardens of Oxford Friends Meeting House or Exeter College, so please dress yourself and your baby for the weather – but we will have an indoor option in case of rain!

Bring yourself, a baby, and perhaps a picnic rug and some toys and snacks. Baby changing facilities are available and there is access for buggies. We will provide some sensory toys to help your baby enjoy themselves as they listen to the singing.

Speakers

Hannah Rhodes (14 July) and Rose Martin (24 July and 5 August).
