Join us for a fascinating panel discussion to mark the 250th anniversary of the publication of The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, one of the most important texts in the history of economic thought.

A drinks reception will follow this event.

Speakers

Professor Joseph E. Stiglitz is an American New Keynesian economist, a public policy analyst, political activist, and a professor at Columbia University. He is a recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (2001) and former senior vice president and chief economist of the World Bank. 

Professor Emma Rothschild is an English economic historian. She is Director of the Joint Centre for History and Economics at Harvard, and an honorary Professor of History and Economics at the University of Cambridge. She formerly served as a board member of the United Nations Foundation. 

Baroness Dambisa Moyo is a Zambian-born economist and author, known for her analysis of macroeconomics and global affairs.
