Lunar: We Look to the Moon Activity Day
20 July 2019
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with the Bodleian Libraries. Find out how and why humans study the moon, and what the moon might tell us about humanity. Listen to lunar themed music, enjoy object handling stalls, visit our resident story-teller, try your hand at printing and craft activities, and engage with academics.
We aim to inspire secondary schools, college students and adults to engage with our world-class collections of manuscripts, maps, rare books and archives.
The Bodleian Libraries hope that all visitors can enjoy their experience and a range of access provisions are available for visitors who require additional assistance.
