About the workshop

Join us at the Weston Library for a short bookbinding workshop for beginners.

Led by Andrew Honey, Book Conservator at the Bodleian Library, in these public sessions you'll be able to bind the printed sheets and cover of a specially commissioned 'ABC of Bodley' chapbook. You'll fold the pages into the correct order, stitch them into a cover, and open the bolts before being able to read the finish work. You'll also be able print a copy of the cover on one of the Bodleian printing presses.

Each workshop contains the same content. No experience necessary.

Book your place on one of the following sessions:

  • 10.45am – 11.45am
  • 1pm – 2pm
