About the event

Celebrate the festive season with live performances from Trouvere Medieval Minstrels, creative craft and Christmas traditions from the Netherlands - inspired by our exhibition North Sea Crossings: Anglo-Dutch Books and the Adventures of Reynard the Fox.

Trouvere mix medieval music and drama in a vivid and lively retelling of the tales of Reynard the Fox. Taking on the roles of jongleurs - the multi-skilled entertainers of the middle ages - they transport the audience back 800 years to tell the story of this great trickster figure of the middle ages - the original antihero and the star of countless stories.

Performances at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Suitable for the young and not so young from 4 years old upwards.
