McKenzie 25 years on: anniversaries, legacies, reflections

The D.F. McKenzie Lecture series began in 1996, the year McKenzie retired as Professor of Bibliography and Textual Criticism at Oxford. Twenty-five years on, Kathryn Sutherland, McKenzie’s successor in Oxford, Peter D. McDonald, his former student, and Dirk van Hulle, Oxford’s current Professor of Bibliography and Modern Book History, discuss his influence and ongoing legacy.

Bodley’s Librarian, Richard Ovenden, will chair the three short talks, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
