About the event

Mixing live performance with video extracts from their stage show (2013) and lockdown adaptation (2020), Stan’s Café share with audiences Burton’s wit and wisdom whilst giving us a glimpse into the peculiarities of life in Early Modern England and reveal how advice given to the melancholy then can speak powerfully to us now.

Please meet us at St Thomas the Martyr Church, St Thomas’ Street, Oxford OX1 1JL for this event.
