Paula Byrne's new biography of the writer, Barbara Pym -  The Adventures of Miss Barbara Pym - is the first to make full use of Pym's extensive archive in what she called 'The World's Finest Library.' This critically acclaimed biography has been described as 'definitive', 'deeply moving', 'hilarious and heartbreaking' and 'unlikely to be bettered.' 

Paula's other works include The Genius of Jane Austen: Her Love of Theatre and Kick: The True Story of Kick Kennedy, JFK's Forgotten Sister, and the Heir to Chatsworth. Her innovative biography The Real Jane Austen: A Life in Small Things was a Sunday Times Top Ten Bestseller and a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week.
